I bought this 1957
Telecaster in 1965 when I was 18 years old (I am now over 70).
The Tele was
originally Blonde, then Metallic Blue, then Psychedelic day-glow paint
(Well, It was the late 60's after all), and now Natural finish.
I decided to
change to a NEW white three ply Pickguard when I refinished the
guitar in 1965. (The pickguard is the only part that is not 100% original).
I still have this
Telecaster (FOR SALE at the right price)
Notice the Serial
Number (-17277) on the neck plate
