Dana Alvino Douglas was born in South Carolina on March 26, 1948.

Dana started playing drums at a young age with various bands.

He joined The Villagers in March 1966 as lead singer and front man for the group.

He plays and writes music and is an accomplished musician on

keyboards, guitar and other instruments.

Today he and his wife Paula live in Conway, South Carolina.
